Question What is this?!

I get bored and look on ebay for things I won't get(no money). But whats with these "kits". Someguy is selling a "Make your headlights angel eye" kit and someone else is selling a "performane chip" that ends up being a .10 resistor you get at radio shack. Does this crap actually work?!

I don't know if it actually works. Really all it is, is that some person did it themself's, and is selling how to doit on ebay. Don't pay for that stuff, I think it's a waste to pay for the info. First off, you may see how it's done and not want to. Second, if you use a search engine, this is the internet. You can find the info on how to do it for free. Anyways, since I already know of a site that tells you how to do DIY "angeleyes," here it is. So like I said, save your money, read it, and enjoy.

It's cool that he was able to make his own angel eyes, but after all that work, he couldn't even get them installed straight. One is turned more than the other. But they still look pretty cool.

Yea, it looks pretty good other than one being more turned than the other, especially for a DIY project. I personally wouldn't try it, but that's me. Not saying that someone shouldn't try it. I'f I had a spare set of headlights lying around, I suppose I would try it then (the I could afford to mess up, lol). but It's like I said above, why pay someone on ebay for the info, you can find the DIY info on the web free if you search. like the link above. I give that U of W student credit though, I wouldn't have figured out how to do it, let alone tried it. It turned out pretty good, especially for a for a first time.

I did a "resistor" upgrade myself. Wired it up real nice with a switch so I could choose the actual temparature or the resistor's temp. I tested it at the track the other night and initial tests show that it actually slows my 1/4 time by up to 1/10th a second. But don't take my word for it, I am going to test it more.
