Any of you former 4 Lug people out there... Have you done a 5 Lug conversion??? If so how much?

most likely your still going to have to pay for the parts at a junkyard unless if the car is like minutes away from going into the crusher and they don't care anymore.

aside from the cool jdm look thing and a better choice of wheels. what the real advantage to doing this 5 lug conversion? greater strength for high speed and launches?

?? greater strength for launches??? u know how much HP and how old the studs have to be for u crack em right off a launch?
i've only seen 1 corvette do it, and it was a stingray with a 454 that had about 1500 hp. and 1 of the bolts were torqued down wrong apparently. Last edited by RalphCare; 07-04-2003 at 06:28 PM. |
