airbag/summer tires??

is it true that there is no airbag (in the steering wheel) in the 04 wrx sti?? Is it also true that the STi comes with summer tires? (I live in Minnesota, so that would be a problem in the snow). If it does, what tires do you guys suggest for good all season performance?

STi does indeed come with driver side airbag in steering wheel.
whoever told you differently is mistaken....

and yes the Potenza's that come with the STi are definately a high performance tire... not for winter driving for certain

hope this helps

tires

For a winter tire (since you have the summer tires already), I would recommend the Michelin Pilot Arctic Alpins. I had a set on my street Porsche 944, and with those tires, the car was almost as good in the snow as my 2.5RS on all season tires. They made a phenominal difference, from where the 944 was virtually undriveable in the snow before.
