00 Civic Si strange clutch sound.

About 20,000 miles ago (currently at 46,000), I installed an ACT street/strip clutch and light flywheel on my si, and of course have been racing it having a little fun with it since.

Recently its been acting very odd. When I easy out to engage it, at first it starts to grab, then slips and makes a very strange screeching sound, and sometimes the sound goes away and it continues to grab (so far ive run a 2.3 sec 60ft) and then other times will just screech untill i let off and engage it again. I want to make clear that it does NOT make a burning smell when it does this, it sounds much like metal on metal slipping. I was thinking theres gotta be something loose between the pressure plat and the tranny, but theres no way i could tell, i havent got any tools to tear the thing off the motor and find out, let alone i would probably forget some friggin steps when reinstallin it. Anyhow, some ideas to what the problem is would be great. Is the clutch toasted? Is the tranny>?

Thanks
