what's up, I just bought an RX-7 two days ago at a body shop, the body is near perfect with perfect paint, all electrical stuff works, has an engine in it too, but the compression is bad and it had seats, but I got it started and was able to drive it home. I got it for $300, so I know I got a really good deal, but I would try to find one that you see like sitting somewhere besides a junkyard and just ask the people if they are wanting to get rid of it, because that is what I did...750 sounds high for no seats and no engine

Yes, $750 is retarded for a car with no motor.
How is the body's condition?? Is(was) it a N/A or Turbo? |

you're gonna pay out the ass for a new engine, offer him $100 bux if you reaaaalllly have to have it. otherwise, keep looking. beyond that, if it's in a junkyard, does it have a title?

What model RX-7 is it first of all, second, unless it was a GTUs, I wouldnt pay more than $300, BUT, at junkyards they usually dont like selling whole cars (my experience). They can part cars out and make a lot more money off of them.

Kinda proves my thoughts. Rotards don't think the RX7 is a very good car, other than the engine. And they don't even think the engine should cost much...
![]() Personally, I think the RX7, 2nd gen, is a fabulous chassis, with excellent build quality, and near perfect ergonomics. If a car is a respected sports GT in good shape, and should bring $5k or more, then it stands to reason that the same car sans engine should STILL bring good money in good shape. FOrtuntely for those who love this chassis, that isn't true. A bad running (or non running) 2nd gen RX7 isn't worth more than $500 in any condition.
