I really cant figure out what kind of kit i want to put on, the agressor is too jetted out, the blitx doesnt work either, the kaminari is alright, i just dont know, but question, how does that yellow civic not have any side mouldings? How can you take those off and make your doors look decent? Can you do that easily or does it require a lot of body work type stuff? Yup, I think that I want to take them off, I was thinking about that today, but I didnt know how that would turn out to look.

I've just been chillin' here lately man...
built and rebuilt my sound system in my 98 civic twice, and am about to rebuild it again.
I had to let my little brother have his 91 Civic back cause he couldn't keep up the payments on my 98. So now I'm trying to decide what to do with it...
As for my 4th gen ambitions, I'm going to find myself a 4th gen shell (Civic, CRX, Sedan... doesn't really matter anymore) because I now have a full shop I can use to work on a car in (my grandfather has a full shop with every tool imaginable that I can now work in because he's too old to do anything in it anymore). My plans will be to tear the shell down almost completely and rebuild from the ground up... like I said, I'll have every tool I could possibly dream of available to me, including equipment to paint the car myself. Since I'll only be spending a small amount on a body from a junk yard or something, and I'll be doing all my own work, I will have very much money to spend on parts.

I will try and stop by the forum more though... and keep yall updated if/when I do start building a civic up.

It takes a lot of sanding, well maybe not too much but enough. Friend of mine did his side mouldings, and also the rain gutters on the hood of the car, right near the door and it came out looking good. If I were you, I would just wait and get a body kit, then take off the side moudlings and then sand that good, then mold the body kit into the car.

Unfortunately I just drive a stock 98 Civic EX at present crxlvr.

Painting and all that fun stuff is not a problem for me... in my time I've sanded down and painted 3 different cars at my grandfather's shop, so I know what I'm in for there... (will also be COMPLETELY gutting the interior and repainting, depending on the original color of the car shell I find)
As for what exactly I do to the body, it all depends on which model car I end up getting... for a hatchback I would leave all the side moulding on the car, and there would be no kit of any kind on it. However for a CRX I'm a big fan of the WingsWest kit. And then I can imagine a Sedan would require a lot of custom work for any kind of kit, and I'd be saying bye-bye to the side mouldings and probably the door handles too.
However with all I believe my color scheme would be blue and white... perhaps if I practice a little I might air brush on some graphics.
I see my personal biggest problems being what engine I would want to use, what suspesion set up I'd go with, and which rims to put on it... everything else I've already got my mind set on.

just thought of this.

there is a military aircraft called the B-16 Bomber correct?

that would be cool if someone that has the b16 in there car, to get the car airbrushed too look like the panels of a bomber, paint one of the girls on the side, some small bombs painted on the side of it, too represent all the cars it smoked and get a spoiler, and paint a number on the side of that, tint the windows, lower it, black rims.

and the inside, well not really sure about that..this idea just came to me know..it would be pretty cool tho

Maybe it's not a car... but it's still cool
