Speaker Cover Material

Does anybody know where I can get some black metal screen, you know, like whats used on car speaker covers?

Hmmm, you may want to try asking in the forum about interiors in the "Cars in General" section, or maybe Car Audio. Because you're far more likely to get an answer there than in here.

it usually comes preformed. I don't know that I have ever heard of anyone else ask for that kind of thing. I am sure the speaker manufacturers get it from somewhere .....

If you want one that matches your speakers (if aftermarket), then go back to where you bought the speakers and order some. If the speakers are factory, then go to the dealer you got the car from, or the local dealer of the make of car you have and get some from them. If you just want some mesh grills, then you can go to any stereo shop and have them get you some.

Thanks for the replies. I wasn't real sure of where to post this question (since I'm an FNG). I was asking because I'm fixing up a couple of old JVC SK-101 home stereo speakers and I wanted to use something more durable than that cloth crap from Radio Shack. Plus the black metal screen will look real "kick-ass."
