I have an AEM CAI for an 88-91 Si I bought from 13secondcivic a couple of years ago. It rubs the strut bar (not pictured) just a little, but I think when the ZC is in, the throttle body will be a little lower and not rub anymore.

DOHC ZC, I,H,E, urethane bushings and mount inserts, rock chipped hood, some rust, stock steelies, nice comfy Integra seats, and the A/C works! What else could you want from an 18 year old car with 241,000 miles? Working on getting the Si tranny in now

but does it really matter when the intake says si or ex can i still use it.

yes..

I have an Si/EX (d16a6) intake on my DX (d15b2) motor...it fits OK, but not perfectly...like I said, I think the throttle body sits a little higher on the DX, so my intake rubs my strut bar a little bit, but it still functions just fine. If I didn't have the full CAI, and only the short ram I don't think it would be an issue at all...
