Isn't GM also in charge of producing that rolling disaster site - the H2?

's quality was about 300 times better than that abomination to the word "automobile"

ok that car is a 96 my civic is a 98, ur dads car just turned over 300,000 miles, mine just turned over 40,000. OMG like complete opposite sides of the spectrum. Y the hell does it has 300,000 miles on it?
and if my math is correct that is like an oil change every 28 days? if u say u get an oil change every 3,000 miles thats 100 oil changes in 8 years.

And how!

But seriously - the fit and finish of those things (H2) does not match the price.

I agree with you there. I wouldn't tolerate the amount of problems that they have with those on a frigging used car let alone a 60K new one (or whatever they cost).

I bought 4 new GM cars from 1989 to 1999 and the Olds Alero was my final straw! The shit they've pumped-out is finally returning to haunt them and I say GOOD! I swore them off after taking a $11K hit of depreciation from the Alero (after 3 years and 50K miles). I'm sorry GM, but I cannot afford to piss money away buying your cars. Also, GM buyers trying to sell late-model cars shouldn't have to compete with 100K rental cars being dumped from fleets every year and flooding the used-car market. I will also avoid any other car company that sells large numbers of their cars to fleet buyers - bye-bye Ford & Chrysler too!!

I'm generally against domestics for the most part. If I HAD to buy domestic, I'd DEF go Dodge. My last car (93 Intrepid) was at 265,000 miles and showing NO signs of slowing down...until her life was prematurely ended in an accident (not my fault, thankfully) that car got me anywhere I needed to go, and while I love my Accord even more, I also now have a car payment, which I didn't have before Anyways, I'm taken aback at this new performance line Dodge is toting, and MAN that Neon SRT seems like it can really kick some ass. I'm not as sure about Chrysler as of late- I was under the opinion their line (300M etc.) was doing pretty well? Anyways, GM should take some lessons from Dodge, if they're looking to fight their way back up through the domestic industry.
