Cool Old-school Tamiya Subaru XT Turbo Coupe

I built this one when it was new (back when the earth's crust was cooling), now it's got some discoloration in the Testors white paint and a set of rims from who-knows-where. Saw one on the road a couple weeks ago, what a time warp! It cleaned up pretty nice, and I got it to sit a bit lower. PMan would be proud of my panel lines!

And for my next Old Skool Scooby Doo:

I can have LOTS of fun with this one!

Brats are WAY cool. I'm surprised there is a kit of it, though.

Build it well. I'm counting on this thing being off the wall.

hehe, i like old school imports, and thats a fine example. I dunno if you saw it, but Car And Driver had a beater contest, they had to find a car under 5000, and use it in ice racing, they used 1 of those Subarus. Unfortinatley, it came in 2nd out of 3 cars. It lost to a Camaro and beat a Peougeot or Fiat, i cant remember.

It's quite a good kit too, full detail with engine. Off the wall? Absolutely! Either full-tilt tuner, or perhaps a support vehicle kinda thing for the rally team. A bit more kick than it's humble beginnings...

That's it! I used custom 18's on my SC 400, so the stockers were lying around. The XT rims are currently installed on my old Honda 1300 Coupe 9.
