Question Rust..uhh

I have two little rust spots on my hatch from where someone tried to break in..They are the size of a quarter... whats the best way to deal with it? They car is silver if that has ne thing to do w/ it. Thanks

Any products that will ionize the rust, meaning it will treat the surface and deep inside the metal. The rust should change to a black hue. Follow up with some primer and touch up paint. To smooth out the Touch up paint..use 500grit wet sand paper saturated in water overnight to flatten the paint to match the surrounding paint. Then use 1000, 1500 and finalize it with 2000. Always use plenty of water and back and fourth motions, preferably along the lines of the car.

That is only a temporary fix, rust is like cancer. The only way to get rid of it is to cut it out
