S13 headlight wiring

i was wondering, for anybody who did the s13 conversion, should the low beam and high come on the same time when you use the high beam. i have the 3 projector one, when i turn on my highbeam, the low beam shuts off. I also splice into the low beam wiring, so that i can hook up the fog lamp to it, of course by doing this, means whenever i turn the highbeam on, the fog light also shuts off. it seems like i'm all haywire with my headlights. if anybody knows how to correctly wire the headlight, please help asap.

hmm....well, seems to me that you wouldn't want your low-beams/fog lights on at the same time as your high-beams...as that would totally blind anyone who saw it. usually what happens is you have your lowbeams, and you can turn on your fogs if you feel like it while in low-beam mode, but once you turn on your highs, the fog lights turn off.
