I am in the process of de-badging the back of my car as we speak. Using dental floss, I have managed to get the emblems off. Trouble is, the adhesive glue is a bugger to get off. Any ideas how I can remove it with chemicals or otherwise?

Just tried using the leading edge of a credit card. It's worked the best so far. I knew that AmEx would be good for something.

Update: I managed to get all the adhesive off by jimming a credit card through the underside of the adhesive and scraping it off. Took a lot of work, but it is done!

look its plan and simple, just use rubbing compound, use a medium grade. that should take the bugger right off.
