A Little hint for GTP drivers
Just a little performance raceing hint if you unplug the vaccum hose from the supercharger you will run max boost the whole time that your car is running. I would advise that you get a plug for the hole, that way the vaccum leak won't alter other performance things.

Are you talking about the line that goes to the boost valve?

Hmm, here is what would probably happen:
*tman invisions himself taking off his vacuum hose, starting car, noticably louder supercharger whine, lightning quick revs. He heads out for a test drive, and smokes the tires all the way to the neighbors house, about 50yds away. He continues to accelerate, and reaches 100mph, the speedo stops at 100. He can really hear the SC whine now, and glances at his temperature guage, it is at 270 degrees! A quick look at the hood, and he notices the paint bubbling. No sooner than that, he hears an explosion, and watches 3 pistons go flying through the hood, with hot engine oil spewing everywhere. He immediately slams on the brakes, but the friction and heat created ignites the brake rotors, leaving him with no front brakes, then he hears the battery explode as pushrods, valvesprings, and assorted engine pieces go flying everywhere the remaining 3 cylenders cant keep going, due to the lack of oil, and they weld themselves to the block. He immediately employs the emergency brake(yes, pun intended ) as a last ditch effort, and it brings him to a halt. He immediately gets out of his once shiny Buick, and stares, in utter amasement at what has just occured and ponders what to do next. Bu now, neighbors have called to fire department, who puts out the fire in the block, and wheel wells. He watches as the tow truck pulls off, taking his baby to the junkyard, never to be seen again.*Why do I cringe when I think of doing that? |

ok so a slightly safer way of doing close to the same mod without the fire department showing up. I refer you to this page

You gotta admit, that is a pretty funny story.
I like what your link shows, instead of increasing boost, is simply allows it to come quicker. Nice! |

I'll have to see if I can do that, I have a Series I 3800 you know, not the series 2, like most everyone here. I'm pretty sure that it's the same, how much of difference does it make?

no hp gains just boost at lower rpm's, if you like to show how your car burns the tires really easy than this is the mod for you.
