Unhappy mkII supra (cutting out)

Ok. I recently bought two 1983 supras. The guy thought that they both needed major engine work but it turns out that one of them only needed a fresh tank of gas. I drove the one car with no problems for about three or four days and then it started to cut out around 2000rpm's kick back in and then run like champ.....Recently this has happened more often and the stalls last longer. ( very very freakin annoying.) I think it might be the fuel filter but thats just a guess and I cant get the fuc@# off so any help would be cool. thanks, clay69

it can be a number of things that cause the car to stall..

yes your fuel pump may be bad.. also your timeing may be off.. i would say bring it to a shop and get it cheacked out, with a old car they are usually problems, my guess is that is a fuel problem that can be you pump or regulator but itz jus a guess.. get it checked out !
