Makinen's EVO 7 WRC Crash

Did anyone catch a glimpse of the Makinen Crash in the EVO 7 WRC?
Damn flipped upside down over its head -- what a way to go on a brand New WRC.. be he wasnt impressed..

i've heard in another forum thats hes considering moving to Subaru? anyone else heard this..?

Correct. Markko Martin is going to join Ford (Comming from Subaru). Francois Delecour (from Ford) and Alister McRae (from Hyundai) are both joining Mistubishi. To be complete, Carlos Sainz has agreed to stay with Ford for one year more and Burns is going to Peugeot.

Talking of Peugeot. It's rumoured that a street version of the WRC is at hand..... So thing are going to look good on the streets (with the Focus Cosworth comming as well).

I saw that race last night on speedvision. That was wacky. Like one more inch and they wold be like dead. The lancers seem sheety the races I have seen but they are still in the top 3 in points. The Subarus seem faster now. That was awsome when the little Z06 went off the hill and it got really screwed.

Last weekends race in Western Oz resulted in another co driver being taken to a hospital: Francois Delecour hit some trees. Crazy enough, after the co-driver was flown to the hospital Delecour was able to drive of in his very badly damaged Ford Focus. This much for the strength of the cars.

Tommy had to bite his teeths. It seems he is driving with a "broken" back.

Now with one race (Network Q in the UK) there are still 3 contestants. The one of them who wins will take the title.
