Wink Highly Detailed 2001 Corvette Z06--a Christmas gift

This is a rebuild of Revell's 2001 Corvette Z06. It is a Christmas gift for my sister, as it is her dream car. To see my informative and detailed progress thread, click on this link:
http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul...d.php?t=631380

Here are the completed pictures. The car may look black in some of the pictures (as I've been told), but it is actually dark blue (representing Chevrolet's Navy Blue). Enjoy!

The best picture, IMO

I made the trunk functional:

And so here it is... Beautiful Vette, I agree with you on that one picture, it really shows the low slung stance. Looks great! But you really need to include a couple pics of the engine when it waas out of the model, to show the great detailing you did.

Nice job, I know your sister will enjoy it. And if she doesn't, she can send it my way LOL, j/k

I await the wiring harness tut with much anticipation...

Great job, it's awesome your sister likes models, my sister has no interest in real sports cars, let alone the miniature kind!

Good job. I really like the car. The thought of doing the project for your sister and not for yourself is nice.
