bit under 500 lbs if I remember right... still runs 9's stock and handles plenty good, so I can't complain about weight. :-)

Yup, pretty fast, pretty good.

I like the minimalistic look of the GSX-R better. You can actually see the background through the rear fork and wheel assembly. I always liked that on the Ducati 900 SS, and know Suzuki made me happy with the new look inspired by the R1.

The nice thing a friend who test rode both the 'Busa and the Gixxer said:
"On the Gixxer you see the tacho jump to the red zone and the speedo "creep" to the illegal zone, while on the 'Busa you see the tacho creep up and the speedo jump to "ballistic"!

Nice bike, congrats!

BTW, Tamiya releases a 1/12 model of the Hayabusa.
Mr. Tamiya, WHAT KEEPS THE FIRST GSX-R MODEL IN 17 YEARS(!) OF GIXXER HISTORY?????????

Sorry for the yelling, I'll get the foam from my mouth..... :hehe:

Cheers,
Erik.

For some odd reason, that cavalier looks extremely photoshopped. first of all its way to low, the wheel wells aren't very smooth and the wheels look terribly fake.

hmmm, now that you mention it it does seem photochopped. Look where the door handles are supposed to be shaved, a little blemished.
