Im building up a model kit of a 1988 Mustang GT Convertable. Heres all my "scale" mods: Cold Air Intake w/ Conical Filter, 125 Shot Nitrous, New Battery Cables, New Brake Lines, New Fuel Lines, Nology Spark Plug Wires, New Ford 8.8in Rear End, Weld Drag Lites, Drag Radials, Stripped Interior, Roll Cage, Single Racing Seat, Hurst Shifter 5pt Harness and a tach .. Maybe an AFX 6" Cowl Induction Hood.. I'll be sure to show you guys first before i get over to the model car forum section. So, heres what i need help with.. As you read before- i pretty much wired up every important wire, so, now i need to know where these lines connect. I circled the areas where i dont know where they attach to. Maybe some pics!
![]() ![]() wheres the oil dipstick go? (BTW, the brake cylender/booster is from a 95 GT) ![]() Not sure, but that line by the throttle body looks like it connects to the oil filler spout thingy. tEH 302 NEWB

Re: Mustang (Model) Help
either that is a real engine, or you are getting good at those little toy cars.

i'm not too sure what you're trying to say here, i can't even see the wires you're talking about in those pics. see if you can clear stuff up for us and we might be able to help you.

Re: Mustang (Model) Help
for the first picture: I circled where the lines ended, or where you cant see it anymore in the picture. So, where do they go after the circleed area?
Pic 2: I see the dipstick, but where does it go down? That, and that other thing, i just wnated to know what it was, so i can try and re-make it in 1:24 scale. Pic 3: Same as the first pic almost-diff. angle, except for the black line that goes from tb to oil filler.

Re: Mustang (Model) Help
just a shot out of the dark but id imagine that the dipstick would eventually find its way to the OIL PAN.

Re: Mustang (Model) Help
OK lets see now.
-The dip stick goes down between the 3rd and 4th header tube (drivers side obviously) down to the oil pan. -In the last pic with the blue lines. That's the AC low side. It runs to the AC condenser that resides in front of the radiator. -In the first pic, that's the AC high side line. It runs to the AC evaporator, then goes in side the car though the fire wall to the AC core, kinda near the radiator core. -OK, last one. The pic with the red engine bay. That line does go from the TB to the oil filler spout on the valve cover. It's part of the crank case ventilation for emissions.
