Steering column ground
Does anyone know what provides the ground to the steering column on an 01? The radio display and horn operation come and go when the column is moved up and down.
For now I'm going to install a wire to provide a good ground but I would like to know what has failed. Thanks Last edited by nxk2000; 09-02-2011 at 11:35 PM. Reason: year

This is a common problem with PT Cruisers. You need to check the harness in the steering column. Cleant the contacts and check for broken wires.
