Shelby Cobra (first completed model)
This pretty much a straight OOB build with some special attention to the paint and finish. This is the Revell kit and it was given to me as a gift about 4 years ago. I've finally finished it and I'm very pleased with the results. There were some scary moments like the white stripe decal going completely wrong resulting in me airbrushing the stripe instead.
So, here is my finished Shelby Cobra with dirt and grime from a longish race. Comments and critisism will be gratefully received! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() finally, this is a shot of the new model with an old Bburage diecast cobra from my collection. |

Re: Shelby Cobra (first completed model)
Very nice clean work. The finish is very smooth. Nice job on the gauges too.

Nice work. I like the subtle weathering you've added.

Re: Shelby Cobra (first completed model)
Nice execution on this one! Especially to be one of your first builds!!!!
Very nice! Did you have to make any alterations to get the stance where it is? That looks perfect. |

Re: Shelby Cobra (first completed model)
Thanks for the comments guys :-)
Andy: I had to break the rear suspension a couple of times and re set it using various pens (to set the ride height) and a pair of hefty books (to set the toe and camber). |
