The front lip spoiler can be made with three pieces of plastic sheet, front, right and left pieces. Then, the corner can be filled with putty. Otherwise, it'd be really hard to make the brake inlet openings. The side skirt and rear bumper valance can also be made from plastic sheet, and use putty to fill curved areas.
For the headlights, MV lens might look better, because it has the appearance of bare projector light. MV lens can be found at railroad model stores. |

[channel kicker1solo]kicker uses the same exact putty, and he likes it. He says that it goes on so much smoother and cleaner than any other putty he's ever used.[/channel kicker1solo]

In the pictures you posted, the front end is pretty much the same as the ITR with the custom lip, you could of just left it.
And building from scratch is pretty hard, it is easier to work off something as a frame (like the front end that comes in the kit).

yea...... it doesn't look like the stock itr lip.. ill take some more pictures.... this is what happens
1. I cut styrene, make a frame for the kit. 2. Try to put putty over it, and try to make it even 3. after putting it on, then sanding, i always get little holes all over the place HELP! |

You need two-part epoxy putty, not filler Squadron putty that you've been using. The stuff you're using is too crumbly and not strong enough on it's own to be used as putty.
