Wendover Utah Pro Solo Event 04-26-09

Hit up the Pro Solo event this past weekend. I didn't get a chance to run as the registration was closed. I tried taking some pictures, but I have figured it helps to make sure the battery is fully charged.

My attempt at glory. I really dig the contrast with the rusted hanger bay doors. I wish the lighting was better, and I was not dealing with a exhausted camera battery.

Top down fool!

But seriously, the pics of all the vehicles alone would make attending the event worth it. Too bad about the camera issue.

On a side note: I saw Steve's car featured in Honda Tuning. Had a nice little article about him, Angie, and the old Teg. Tell him congrats from me if you ever could.

I'm really not a fan of the top down. A mugen hardtop is in the future...

I will pass that on to Steve.

My favorite Lotus is the dark green. Some day maybe.

Hey, that's the hangar they're trying to save from demolition because it's an historical landmark. I had no idea the SCCA ran right next to it. Never had a chance to get down to the Wendover events, just the Salt Lake events Looks like some pretty damn cool cars show up the Wendover ones.

Yeah, I just read that on the news last night. I think it is a interesting old place, with some great history whether good or bad.

I have only hit up the Wendover events a few times. With this being a national event, there were cars from all over.

Re: Wendover Utah Pro Solo Event 04-26-09

Ah Wendover...one of the first tracks I ever went too. (It wasn't pretty attempting to make it down the track either)

The drive there alone was fun enough for me. Watching Steve's teg and your Civic do some highway runs while I ran against your buddies Hyundai there were pretty fun.

As for the Mugen Hardtop... SEXY! Back when I was looking at S2k's, that's the first addition I was looking to make if I purchased one. Kinda give the back end that M-Coupe clook IMO. But nice overall.

Are you thinking of the Spoon hardtop? I think they look more like the m coupe.

Here is the Mugen.
