New user-how do you display your cars?

Was wondering how you experts display your cars. I know some have display cabinets, but I wonder if any of you use special 1:24 display cases (like the Imex ones), If so, where do you guys get hold of them. The Imex ones used to be a cheap option but I can't find them anymore in the UK!

I'd also like to know. I need a place to put all my models now. I've checked ebay for display cabinets and they're around $70 or so for like a 20 car display case. Where can I get something for a good price?

Howiedoit,

If you are in the States, then you can contact Imex modelling company as they make really nice 1:24 and 1:18 scale display cases. Give them a call, you can find the telephone number on their website. They are based in Florida I believe.

Unfortunately, these gr8 cases are hard to find in the UK......

I need a cabinet as well. Right now I am using the individual cases. One car per case.

My dad just finished building this display case:

We still need to buy glass shelves and a glass cover. The mirror tiles cost $20 alltogether. Their is a light on the top too so it looks really cool at night. I wouldn't put the total cost past $50.

Where do you buy these parts from? Your local Home Depot? I was considering building one myself, but don't know where to start.
