I have an Amazing 92 geo storm. Only prob is I am 13 and don't have my lisence.
I have put a little bit of $$$ in it and it runs amazing. Just looking for a Spoiler for under $800(cdn). Just to mention that GEO cars are COOL and they look innocent but pack a +175HP punch. did I mention they look like A baby Camaro:right:

what 92 storm are you running?

Turbo charged? Nitrous? Major internal work done? Or are you just rambling? there is no stock or even moderately modified storm with 175+HP....Umm....the 92-93 GIS's came w/ 140 hp stock...thats at the crank, so actually its more like maybe 100-110 hp at teh wheels...so even w/ most the bolt ons you can get for it (I.E. I/H/E UR underdrive pulley, etc) you will only pull something along the lines of maybe if you are really lucky 130-135 hp at the wheels if you are very lucky....So unless you have a turbo off an Impulse RS or I-Mark RS or major internal work done, i doubt you have 175+hp...it is very easily done w/ large amounts of money but being 13, i highly doubt it....

Sounds like too much work to be putting in one of those little storms. By the time you are all finished putting the money in and adding mods, you should of bought a cheap camaro or someting better than a storm.

damn you! Don't dis on de Storm! Storms are awesome. The other cool thing is that in time they will be worth a lot of money! They only made them from 1990 to 1993 so the will be rare!! Plus, there is no cooler looking car is there??

Re: female has questions.....

i know your just joking right?? they dont look nice! My cousin has one, he went around talkin all his mess about how his 93' geo storm(manual 1.6 SOHC) can take my 91' Nissan Sentra. I did him in a street one time... Now his car barely runs at 110k miles, my car on the other hand has 182k miles and i have no problems at all...Im not gonna talk mess about yall's cars because everyone with a 240sx or other higher class nissans talk mess to us poor sentra owners and i dont really like it. But why do you lie if you know a Storm is not all that!? I'm only 15, and the only reason i try to fix my car, is because my parents gave it to me and i dont have $$ to buy another one. so dont go around making people laugh at you. peace out, laterz

hey now

hey now my friend has a 92 sohc storm and he loves it, 3 days after he got into a wreck and after 2 axels, motor mounts, control arms and etc came out to 1000 bucks done by a local aamco and all i gotta say they did it the best that anyone else could have done it.....well worth the money

and then he now has a few mods well bored out intake manny and bored out tb, uhhh intake and headers and we cut the muffler off and damm thing runs in low 17s

and resently the oil seals busted and that was a pretty 500 dollar bill.. but car is runin alswome nows and whats funny is the fuel filter was the oem from 92 and and the timin was off a tiny bit off and when the engine seals busted it caused the timing belt to jump the teath 3 times and so it was slugish like crazy so....ya

and anyone try to replace one of those fuel filters all ill say is the after market ones u pick up they suck

gotta go to full service and get an ac delco

but let me add my dad owns a swimin pool co and we built a pool for a gm for 2 aamco transmisson stores and ive never been a fan of "other people doin work on my truck" but since they have rebuilt my trans and then when i went in for a check up on the trans and etc....my fuel pump died and so thinkin i almost had to get it towd to another shop i thought id get them a try since then they have serviced my truck for all kinds of things best peps thats all i gotta say

Re: female has questions.....

Well you don't want to be racing stock or anything.(heat up to fast) They are somewhat well built(my girlfriends uncle took apart her dash to get to the heating coil and it was over 150 screws). There are not many kits because the popularity of them and they are already so low to the ground. If interior is torn you may want to go to a junk yard to fix it. You won't be doing any major mods to the inside unless you use a good quality of primer and vinyl paint. If other words, I used to hate them until my girlfriend got one. She suprised a lot of cars trying to race. So it gets my respect

Re: female has questions.....

Storms do look like a baby camaro far away. I've always wondered if somebody else thought the same thing. But yeah, storms are really nice cars, just wish they would have made more and maybe even redesign them. Oh and the GSi can pack a punch against a stock civic or sentra. But that's not including the top end model of both.

Re: female has questions.....

It is funny because when the Storm was introduced, it was a real good seller.... So good that GM designed the Camaro to look like it..

HAHA . That's funny. You need to put it on a dynomometer and see how much horsepower you really have. Doing those things will not give you 93 more horsepower on THAT car, or whatever your site says.
