I'm not too worried about a powerhouse F-body. They may make a car that can beat GT's but not by a lot and they won't be able to touch the Cobra unless Chevy makes some big changes to the Vette. The 03-04 Cobra are already way to close to the Vette for Chevy to make a Camaro that can compete with the Cobras. Ford has nothing to limit the Cobras except the Ford GT and that is a monster cieling to work with.

Re: Stangs vs. future F-bodies....

There are no GM plans to bring it back, yet...

Some engineers worked on designs on their own time. Any concepts are just dreams so far.

I do think they sould bring it back, it gets kinda lonely around here with just the ricers.

Re: Stangs vs. future F-bodies....

i think it'd be pretty cool if they came out w/ a more powerful f body, just a little more competition on the road and a greater win to brag about...stang guy, its a distraction to read posts when youve got a sexy azz car and right below it boobies that wont stop shaken!

Re: Stangs vs. future F-bodies....

I agree with you GTstang... I think that GM would be shooting themselves in the foot to make something so powerful that it takes sales away from the vette....but , like I said, it was just a rumor I had heard
(however, if the f-body trash started selling more, maybe it would be good for the stang aftermarket products!!)

Don't mistake what I said for not wanting a return of the Camaro. I miss seeing the new model Camaro come out and the Mustang and the head to head comparos and arguements. But I just don't see GM making a new F-body or if they do it's going to be a disappointment.

Re: Stangs vs. future F-bodies....

If they bring it back it wont have any resemblince to the old style, I think they would put too much import style into it, but that is just my opinion(it don't count for much)
