stop spreading bullshit. D15 + D165 = 75mm bore D16 has a longer stroke, 90mm, giving it the extra .1L of displacement. *OBVIOUSLY* if the stroke is different, then the crank is different because stroke is determined by the crank. a couple extra facts.... yes, 1.5 and 1.6L pistons share the same bore, but are not interchangeable. the piston wrist pins are in different locations and bearing sizes on the 1.5 are smaller than 1.6L. the heads are exactly the same in casting, the difference lies in the cam and valve train alone. |
