97 fuel economy

I just bought a 97 civic ex sedan. I barely squeuzed 200 miles out of a full tank. Is this normal? I don't think it is a vtec. I don't see any vtec markings on the engine. Any info would be great.

What the hell do you people drive like? I get 250 miles out of a tank and thats including beating the crap out of my car! The most i've got out of a tank is 300 miles... and when I filled up it only put 10 gallons back in... do the math and thats 30mpg.

i had a 97 dx for my primary car before but now its the beater car and since i got it back in the day my gas mileage has gotten worse and worse. i originally thought it was because of the cracked exhaust manifold but after that was replaced it wasnt it, nor all the ignition components i replaced. i am starting to think its a fuel pressure problem. when i get off my lazy ass and check the fuel pressure i'll let you know the results.
