Painted Tinted lenses (pics)

Ok, so I got around to doing this, as of this time I have finished the bumper lenses and am in the process of doing the corners. No pics yet of the bumpers on the car since its dark, but you get the idea.

The paint I used


Prepping em and getting them ready

Check that out, nice and clean


Taped off the parts I dont want to paint

I started on my left corner lense today (dont want to do them both at the same time cause it might attract cops to have em both off)
All prepped and ready to go

We will see what it looks like once it dries.

This follows the same principles as painting your taillights, which I posted instructions on a while ago.

thats tight, i wanna get black projectors and blackout the bumper and corner lenses but i dont know if it would look right with the color of my car

The bumpers you can tint pretty dark cause it will blend with the black part of the bumper, as far as the corners, I am not going TOO dark on those cause I just want to do it to the point that they blend better with the faded headlights and dont stand out so much.

ci5ic has black projectors, and I am not sure what his corner lens situation is but back at the meet he had painted the housing black and the lens part had fallen off.

check ebay for corner lights. i just bought a set of black housing ones for my hatch, and they even have some for the sedan that look even better. solid amber ones too
