again Gaia flat black and light soiling

the same with this part but here I used Alclad polished aluminium

Been following your build, and it's truly inspiring. Such attention to detail, yet no special laths, mills, or the such have been used. That gives me the confidence to try and move my personal bar up a few notices on my next build.

Re: Porsche 910 Nürburgring 67 'winner - Tamiya 1/12

This is bulkhead behind seats

Tamiya together with bulkhead made tube from frame.
I’ll try to do bulkhead and frame separately.
This is how it’s look like in real

Tamiya has done a very thin tube about 1,8 – 2,1mm which after rescaling gives 21,6 – 25,2mm. Quite a few for the construction of a sports car. Cages of modern cars are built mostly with a tubes diameter of 50mm. I could build a frame with rods 4mmbut I'm afraid that I might run out of space in some places. I made a small sample of the rods 2mm

eventually I’ll use to build tubes 2,5mm

I also did the test headband

after a quick dip in boiling water

Re: Porsche 910 Nürburgring 67 'winner - Tamiya 1/12

Hello M.Boy,

Porsche chassis tubes are quite thin. For example, three diameters used on the 917 chassis: 20, 25 and 32mm (Source: The Fabulous Porsche 917, Peter Hinsdale edited by Jonathan Thompson 1972).

Nice work, where did you get the braided hoses and clear tubing from?
