My closest race was up against the 2002 civic EX.I took him in 1st but after that we were dead even the whole race.By the way he had DC sports header,DC intake,Dc exhaust, and a VENOM control module whatever that is.I know all of this becouse he tells everyone what he has.

I ran 16.3 at Englishtown last month...

I had Aem short ram, stage 2 clutch and a leaky ass thermal exhaust. I think I could have squeezed a sub 16 sec run out of it, but right after my trans case popped.

Maybe after I get my trans this week, I'll try it again. I dunno, depends on how things go. I dont wanna break another one.

ok heres my story...i have a D16A6 in my 88 CRX HF. the best time i ran was at "beat the heat" in sac raceway like last month. i ran a 14.9@91mph. but i usually average 15.0's. is this possible with just cai\h\e gutted rear interior and short shifter??? also have some light ass HX rims on my car. i bought the car with the d16 in it already and when i first test drove it, it seemed faster than it should be? maybe it has a mildy built motor or something? i sure hope not cause i'm ordering my crane cam on monday and if it already has a camshaft in it i'll be one pissed off guy! maybe it has a port and polished head? shit i don't know...but i take 00si's and gsr's all day long. oh well...works for me

hmm i think your car would be a tad bit quicker if you had the si tranny to match the si motor? or is the HF tranny better with the D16A6?

The Si and Hf trans are different as night and day....

If the Si was a minute, the Hf would be a week. ahahahaha...

WAAAAAAY longer gear ratio, not really suited for drag racing. Remember the Hf was made for highway travel, where a short-ratio trans isn't really necessary. I'd say try to find yourself an Si trans, and see if it makes a difference, I think it would.

And I do think its possible for your setup to run low 15's all day. The Hf is almost 300lbs lighter than my car in stock trim, and Im running 16.3
