96 f-150
I have a 96 F-150 with a 4.9 litre inline 6. When the engine is cold is starts fine. After I drive it and get it hot shut it off and re-start it, it seems like it is flooding. The engine shakes struggling to stay running and finally after about 20 to 30 seconds of that it clears up and runs perfect with no problems after that.

Re: 96 f-150
Try cleaning your ect sensor. If they get scaled up it takes more time to work properly.
