anyone have any ideas on why my speedometer is stuck at 40???
Its stuck all the time, it never moves, all the other guages work fine, is something that can be fixed or repaired, or some type of wiring issue I can look for or would i just have to go with a new gauge cluster to fix it??? Thx in advance for any advice. |

did you recently put in guage faces? if so the needle may be caught on the edge of the face.
if not, maybe time for a new guage cluster.

the previous owner did install or try to install some indiglo's, Im not exactly sure what he did. I know this is the cause of this, Im just curious if its easily fixable, maybe he forgot to plug in a wire, or just simply broke the needle. Any feedback is much appreciated!

It's very easy to fix. I've read a few times before how people try to install indiglo gauges and screw up the needle. Take the gauge off and fiddle with it, you should be able to see the problem.
