It would really help if we knew what kind of engine you want to put in it, is it Vtec? DOHC or SOHC? I think your car has a cable trans and the new engine you have is probably a hydrolic trans so you'll have to change that, its not hard you just need the lines and the resevoir. Other than that we need what kind of engine your putting in

OPPS I just read over you question again, it should drop in except for the clutch but I may be wrong about the clutch.

sorry about the missing info. its a sohc. non-vtec. i believe its the dx civic model, my engine is a 1.5 and it's 1.6. so besides that i do think the newer civic does have a hydralic clutch. no sure. thanks. let me know if you need more info

If its the 1.6 its not a DX, the 1.6 is the stock USD si engine, if you have that then your lucky cause it is Vtec. But I'm thinking that you have a 1.5 still, you must have if its a DX. The 1.5 should drop right in you just the the clutch master cylinder and the hose's for it and everything just plugs up, good luck

Use your 91 tranny and the drivers side 91 motor mount and it will all bolt up and bolt in...still have to rewire for the ecu though...try www.thedropshop.tv for a wire harness adaptor....
