Re: question about the stock bov on a 90 ecipse

lol you can't pull off the recirc adapter and expect the car to run normally. Of course the engine will run super rich and nearly (or actually) stall out if your shooting out metered air.

if you want to do it right you gotta spend money on a gmaf and translator and use that instead of the factory maf.

Who cares about the BOV noise come on your car running properly is more important. This stuff irritates the shit outta me

Who CARES how loud the compressor bypass valve is? Let it do its job.

Spellcheck, BTW.

Changing to a metal intake will increase the noise some.

Being that we don't know what car he drives, I can't advise searching around for the trick with the recirc hose, either.

Re: question about the stock bov on a 90 ecipse

Try reading the "FAQ: Read this before you ask a question" thread...well, BEFORE you ask a question.

Fill out a profile with relevant mods (smoked marker lights and underglow are not relevant and will be ridiculed is listed as such)

And for the love of Jesus Horatio Sanchez fuckin' Christ, type like you aren't a first grader if you want REAL, responses. If you can't take the time to ask a proper question, why should we answer with proper information? This is just a lazy trait and you should drop it ASAP. It doesn't fly in the grown up world, no matter how much your AOL and XBOX buddies claim "it doesn't matter". It does. Sure as shit, it does.

I'll bite.

this is his first turbo car that he has done absolutely no research on. He heard his friend's *insert car name here* make a cool noise and so he asked what it was. Instead of modding his car properly and having a great sleeper, he plans to rice the fuck out of it with every forthcoming trip to Auto Zone.

Am I close?

Joking aside, PLEASE think about what you do with these cars and the effects it will have. They are dwindling in numbers and becoming harder to find in any reasonable condition.

Thanks,

Thanks Lando for ruining it. I wanted to hear that from his perspective.

He could have different reasons. I'm just going with what I've seen thousands of times before.
