Mercedes-Benz E320 Limo

Hello guys, here is my new project :-P

I work on the car, cca. one week, and the car body is cca. 70% ready!
The drain stripe caused a smaller problem on the roof, may not have been totally because I aimed for the good one in any way in the course of the joints onto a straight to do,I decided it in such a way in this manner that I polish it ,and remake. In this manner plainer, faster, and the final result was better possibly.

Let the pictures speak!

Re: Mercedes-Benz E320 Limo

Hay that came out well man good build. There was some crud methods used to get this job done and my self have used those same crud methods to get a build done.
One thing if I may there's a small dip or sag in the roof and the side window. I had that same problem on one of my builds a truck see here:

I don't know if your willing to add just a little more putty to the meddle of your roof. An use a sanding stick or flat file to get that sag to flat'in out. but I had to fill my sagging roof in.
Still I love it a lot man, please keep us posted.

Re: Mercedes-Benz E320 Limo

outstanding stretch on the benz limo!

be sure to cure the resin fills thoroughly first before doing the color coats.
i hope you've used a non shrinkable resin or putty something, cos one of my past stretch builds appeared to have some 'sag' on those heavily puttied areas. best thing is, i can't remember what brand of putty fills i've used then.

just to be sure...great work!

Re: Mercedes-Benz E320 Limo

DJ RUSH99, Like your project. I built a S600 Limo myself. You can check it out under "fastdupree." FYI! Make sure you fully let your car dry when painting it before doing any buffing. If not, you will have problems with the body staying together just like I did. Good luck on this nice project.
