Here is what is going on, and if anyone could offer any advice that would be great.
My New Yorker started stalling a couple of weeks ago, after it stalls it starts right back up again and will drive a couple of miles usually before stalling. I have taken to a mechanic, and have lost faith it them. They replaced the starter, the crank sensor, the fuel filter, and some pins having to do with the coils and I am still having the same problem. I lately discovered that when it goes to stall, if I floor the gas pedal it will catch itself and regain power. Any suggestions would be great! I'm going insane over this! |

Sounds like a fuel or air delivery problem to me.
My advice would be to take the car to a dealership, ad five star dealership. They might cost more, but they will fix your car. Trust me, I've been burned by enough mom and pop places to know. I've never had an issue since taking my cars to the dealer. |
