fastrThanU - what all do you have done to your car????

I know some people do have times... what all did it take to get you to the point that you're at???

I know theres a 93 Lightning that went to the track with me yesterday that ran a 12.4 with heads, roller everything, cam, mass air conversion, and SUPERCHARGED. there were some guys down there in imports... but more RICERS than import racers.

shit.... I'm not exactly happy about my 16.4.... but its alright, the truck is bone stock, and its my daily driver, so all my energy is going into another project.....

hopefully the green truck will have intake and exhaust at least by the end of the summer.... I'm hoping to use it to haul the other and race them both..... just hopin, doubt it'll happen though

there was a blue neon at the track I was at that drove there and drove home that ran an 11.1, i konw he had nitrous, and turbo's I think they were twin turbos.... sounded cool and ran even better..... no stickering, looked like my aunts neon..... it was one wicked ride

Last time it was run the LeBaron got 14.03 @ 98mph.

When the turbo dies I plan to replace the engine, turbo, intercooler, radiator, and all the hoses. Then I plan to mod it to run about 25 or more PSI with a boost controller. I hope to run in the 12s or 11s.

what have i done to the chevelle? well, it's a 283 block bored .030, zero-decked, 11:1 forged flat tops w/ chromeoly rings, 305 race prepped heads- milled, 3 angle valve job, air gap intake, performer carb, energizer full race cam, K&N filtercharger setup, high vol. oil pump, Milodon low drag water pump, 4 row 32fpi hi performance rediator, 60,000 volt ignition, 2.5" flowmaster/dynomax exhaust....

it's really much easier that one would think to get this kind of performance out of this kind of car, dragon, mainly due to the fact that a mod on a non-emissions car will be able to pull more power out of that mod, and the mods can be more radical and pushed further because it isn't computer controlled and doesn't need to worry about tripping OBD codes

is it your daily driver??

I'm looking at putting a carbed engine in place of my V6 in one of my trucks..... that way I'll be able to pull off some massive times before the addition of a super, turbo, or nitrous.

i'm kinda happy with it.... I didn't go to the track with any expectations, so I'm not let down.... but I have 'the bug" no matter what I'm driving.. I want it to go faster....

but that truck won't get too fast.. it'll end up with exhaust and cold air.... maybe a shift kit and cam.... but that'll be for towing reasons rather than speed

i only drive the chevelle in the summer and then the spring and fall when it's nice. rain is a no no, not only because i don't like to get it wet, but serious traction problems start happening with that much torque going out the back

yea, I know some guys with Lightnings, and each have different levels of HP and Torque. 1 has some massive problems, but then again.... he has around 500-550 rwhp, the other 2 just have minor add-ons and don't have TOO much of a problem, but its a TON different than tryin to drive either of mine in the rain
