Headlights

I keep going through light bulbs like crazy! When I bought my car, i put new ones in. Ive had to put 2 new ones in in the last few months. Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem and what to do about it.

wat kind of bulbs you got in there? I bought some ebay crap bulbs and they went out after a couple months, but regular bulbs last normal time. Do they ever get brighter if you rev ur car up? Cuz if u have an electrical prob your bulbs could be blowing from that. I dunno, just thought i'd attempt to help.

They were from Peb Boys. I think I got the most expensive kind they had cuz they were supposed to be brightest, so I hope they arent crap lights. But once in a while the lights will get brighter when i accelerate but I think thats just cuz my alternator is starting to go. Would that cause them to burn out?

i was tring to talk him into getting some nice blueinsh headlights but he was like "thses ahve done me fine for as long as have owned the car, and knowing my luck, if i take them out the rest of the car will fall apart"

I just figured out that if I punh the one thats out kinda hard when the switch is on, it turns on. So now every time i start my car i have to go punch the headlight. Kinda ghetto if you ask me.:toothless
