Talking Just got '90 CRX Si for $200

Well, this dude i know totalled his black 90 CRX Si by slamming the passenger side into a curb. Messed up the wheels, and suspension (not sure to what degree yet). The wheels are sitting at a fucked up angle right now. Anyways, the body is near perfect. Glossy black paint, motor, trans are still in there (and 92,xxx miles on it too w/ a new rebuilt A6 head). No Si seats (i'll be using mine)...the hole dash is in there tho.
My question is: I'll be needing suspension shit. I need to know where to get it at a cheap price. Is 88-89 Si suspension different from the 90-91 Si. Is suspension different on the DX,HF,STD (i'm assuming it's less beefy than the Si). Yeh..well anyways im really excited because my bumblebee is a rusted thru piece of shit. I dont have much money to work w/ at the moment, which sucks. I paid the $200 for the car with the money that i got from my hit and run accident (i got $400 after my $500 deductable). Any help/suggestions appreciated

would i have to do both sides? or could i just replace the pass. side? The passenger side rear wheel is fucked up too. The 90 Si has rear disc brakes compared to my 89 Si w/ drums...does that make the suspension any different? I want to keep the rear disc

to answer your question, my friend has a 89 crx...i bought some spax lowering springs from him and put them on my 91, so yes they are useable. I thought there was a difference in the rear axle but there actually isnt.

I got a Civic that the driver side was ran into curb. Ice and slid on a bridge. The wheels on the driver side looked wack, and from the front the wheels where going in different directions. You might want to jack up the car and look under it on the rear and look for bent mangled metal, and in the front take off the wheel and look behinde there for anything that might have popped off or be bent. If so you will have to do some work to remove the welds and reweld parts. I was told it was just suspension work that needed done and found out that it was more.

Okay, the 88 civic suspension is totaly different from the 89-91 suspension, the 88 suspension is very similar to a suspension that of a ITR. Thats why its mostly used in AutoXing.......
