Tamiya ferrari red??
I'm sorry for the n00b question but I got a Tamiya Ferrari F50 for X-Mas but the manual only gives the tamiya color code for the yellow version and I would like it in ferrari red. So does anybody know the code for what red it is cuz they have several reds in spraycans, TS-??

TS 8 Italian Red. You need to spray the yellow body with white primer first or the TS 8 will have an orange tint to it if sprayed directly on the yellow plastic.

Thx man, does it have to be a white primer, can't I use the standard grey primer Tamiya has cuz I have a lot of these cans still laying around?

if you don't have white primer here is a little trick that i did. prime it with the normal grey once dry lightly sanded to smooth out the orange peel. then spray a fine light coat of white when I say fine I mean just enough to cover most of the grey. let dry then do another quick sanding then apply the ferrari red or the bright red and you get a nice result.
