Red face BMW save Us ! Lancisti....

After years and years of disastrous Fiat management, the legendary Lancia cars is near to his death. All these lasts 10 years was full of very incredibles wrongs and models out af any actual tendence and absolutely far by the tradition of the trues Lancia of the past and out of any sports, granturismo models and competitions. The future is again more dark, if possible, the recent accord Fiat-GM will gave great goals and projects for Alfa but not a words for Lancia, just the 17 Jan, when Mr. Cantarella, the Top Manager of the Fiat Group declare (after that management, models and a Day after day all Lancia Dealer in Europe are going to close) then Lancia will be out of any market out of South Europe and only with sedan models buld with Fiat, no more coupes and sports car for the future daughters of Stratos, 037, Delta Integrale, Fulvia HF, Gamma, Beta, Flavia, Flaminia coupes. This is the end of Lancia and of these cars, GM & Fiat wont the Alfa? WE WONT THEN Fiat/GM SELL LANCIA !
- We hope in BMW which could replace the bad recent experience of Rover with this appreciated and famous Italian Company; more near to sport car and perhaps now little cars respect to BMW, now Lancia is only a mark without industry or works problem which was the situation of Rover. Please BMW Saveand Buy Lancia, tha market can open in new directions!

That news was on the most importanta italian economy newspaper, "Il Sole 24 ore" on Thrusday 17 Jan. to Fiat last decade manager Cantarella.
I don't think Lancia close totally, but the plain of Fiat is clear, Lancia will be inclded in totally in Fiat cars, no more project completely dedicated to Lancia and is probably totally clusure of tha dealers Lancia, no more sport cars or coupe in future, only sedan lightly more accurate than Fiat models: and this last decade of Lancia models was been in this direction. The investments Fita and GM will be only for Alfa.
I think the better thing was to create a new structure called Alfa-Lancia spa well split to Fiat, with luxury and sports car of the same level of German cars. This options is not accepted for this I hope Fiat sell Lancia to BMW but is hard. Fiat, some years ago, was not sell Lancia under strong request by Toyota and more recently Mercedes: they have fear for the italian Fiat market with a Lancia woth a right well by a stranger owner.
I have now two old Lancia, a Fulvia coupe 1.3s and a Gamma Coupe 2.5ie, Delta Evo is a dream...
bye
