Be sure the dash dimmer isnt all the way off. If it isnt the fuse, that might be it - especially if you have kids that like to "play with the knobs".

Re: Need Help Dash Light's Gone Out

Find the IOD fuse under the hood in the fuse center and pull for a couple of minutes , sometimes the bcm will get confused and this resets the bcm , you will lose all radio presets doing this .... For the fan problem , replace the blower resistor behind the glovebox ... If you have a cabin filter make sure to check that is clean and not clogged up as this is what can burn out the resistor . Filter located under the dash on the passenger side. Not all models have this so you would have to look .

Re: Need Help Dash Light's Gone Out

When pulling the IOD fuse are we suppose to first disconnect the ground cable from the battery, or is it harmless to do it with the battery connected?

No you don't have to pull the ground , that would do basically the same thing as pulling the iod fuse , pulling the fuse is easier than messing with the ground cable.

Re: Need Help Dash Light's Gone Out

Hi Joe Tex,

I am not sure if you have seen this marvelous tutorial and troubleshoot procedure in fixing the AC blower, but if you follow the instructions you might find the issue and fix it yourself. Here is the link: http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul...d.php?t=340871

That is the reason how I found this wonderful forum. Since I am also having an issue with the blower just turning on when it wants. I bought the blower relay for about 3 bucks (would haven been 17 bucks if I would have bought it at the shop), and then I picked it up today at my local Kragen. (Did make the guy at Kragen double-check that was the blower-relay I needed--I did discover that many relays in the Voyager almost use the same relay, so there really isn't a unique motor relay, it all is based on the function that particular relay does--but don't quote me on that--still learning.)

I plan to install the relay tomorrow, since by the time I picked up today it was getting dark. Can't wait to see if it fixes my issue, but if it does, I plan to reply in that wonderful tutorial and give my respects to the tutor professor there! Wish me luck.

Thanks for the reply viperegg. Could you do me a favor? Could you go to this thread I started here: http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul...d.php?t=762346 and tell me where to locate that IOD fuse on my Fuse & Relay Center which I provided the picture of it there? Thanks a million!

Re: Need Help Dash Light's Gone Out

I have a 99 T&C, The dash light went the other night, checked the fuses and they were ok. Pulled the light switch out of the dash and found that the dash lights part of the switch was history. Today I replaced the light switch, and checked the dash light light bulbs are ok but they still won't work. I removed the IOD fuse for about 30 sec. and retried the lights still no luck. All of the other lights work.

Re: Need Help Dash Light's Gone Out

Probaly needs the Body control module replaced,it is probally bad,a very common problem. You have to take to the dealer to get programed with Chrysler's factory scan tool DRB III.

Re: Need Help Dash Light's Gone Out

welll that sounds like a diffrent problem...i think the iod fuse is for the neon type dash lights only..cause i use to own a 1997 town&country lxi and it was not like the 2002's fuse box(caravan sport)
