Hi,
Yesterday while Swapping Out front Axles on my 95 honda odyssey, I Ripped a crack on The Grease Boot On The Ball Joint With The Fork Used To Pop The lower Control Arm Out (This happened to both driver and passenger sides ball joint boots). Replacing them will cost around $500-600 (including the realignment). I got advice to re-grease them every time I change the oil as well as use ATV sealant for the crack so that I don't have to replace them. Any people have similar problems before? Does the re-grease method work? Thank you! |

Re: ball joint boot crack: replace or re-grease every 3K Miles
I had a cracked boot on one of mine. I lubed it a little more frequently than the others and its lasted just as long.
