over-heating problems

hey can someone maybe help me figure out whats goin on? i have a 94 mx-3, does have a lot of miles on it but in great shape and well taken care of, i recently came across an over heating issue. theres no leaks, compression is good, jus changed my head gasket, machined the head, changed the thermostate, oil, coolant. the temp is ok when i drive, but idleing goes way up. it is over heatin cause i had a heat test done. the fans does come on, but not as soon as they should. im gettin heat from the vents, no leakin or squeeling water pump, im pretty sure my rads not clogged cause theres no smells or over flowing anywhere, all my hoses are good im stumped. i already spent 1000 in the past 2 days tryin to resolve this..any suggestions?

Re: over-heating problems

You will get better help if you post in the Mazda part of the forum. If the fans are not coming on when they should, find out what makes them come on, and fix it. My guess is a bad fan control thermostat.
