For your first model the paint work turned out spectacular! With those kind of painting skills you're WELL on your way to being a great modeler; detailing is a much easier skill to learn than painting. Congratulations!

wow sir....if my first model looked like that, i wouldn't have wasted so much money...having said that...i've so far done 5 models now, and i STILL can't get it to look like that =(

stop lieing!!! That's not you first build!!!!!! It's way too good to be your first build! I was just kidding about you lieing by the way. That finish is just so good it's almost unbeleivable that it's your first!
