finished '72 Blazer on 49" Super Swampers

Its done. The interior was flocked, photo etch gauges were used, hat pins were used for shifters and the cage made from styrene tube. The body was detailed with Bare Metal Foil and a rear bumper was made from more tube. The engine has machine aluminum pulleys and magneto, plug wires, fuel lines, and heater hoses. I made the tall air cleaner from Detail Master screen. I added a radiater and overflow, a master cylinder with brake lines. The engine bay in this kit was very sparce, so if you see it I added it. The exhaust was made from solder with SuperTrapp muflers from Machined Aluminum Specialtys.

Very creative build! I'm not particularly enthralled with the off-road scene, but you have done a good job replicating one of these popular vehicles. I'm familiar with the sparse engine bays you speak of; yours looks pretty good. The only thing I noticed that could use improvement is the interior; the colors look too bright and give it a "plasticky" appearance. Some weathering or flat paint might tone that down. Otherwise, great build and nice scratchbuilding!

Nice engine work. One quick Q though... why are there 2 shift rods? I'm sorry if this is a noob Q..

Looks Good! Almost looks like a 1:1 around town, only it has a rag top.

One question, are the shocks upside down?
