Question Steelies

Anybody have a source for 1/24 scale steelies? (modern ones, anyway...) Probably not what most of us think of when looking for model car wheels....

This is close enough, just drill like 10 holes in each wheel

LOL!!! Almost!

I was thinking it'd be great if I could find aluminum disks with concentric ripples, and then just drill the holes and paint... Don't know where to start looking...

Maybe you can get a Lancer Evolution RS model by Fujimi. The box art has steelies, but don't know what's inside.

Those things look like the Honda 13 inch 4X100 steelies. Are they off your Accord Jay? Those wheels are very similar to the Tamiya Nissan skyline 2000GT-R Hard Top. kit (24194) Its as close to modern steel wheels that I've seen.

Those aren't mine. My car came with alloy wheels. I just stole the picture. So you mean like the one in Tazdev's gallery? I can't see his wheels too well... Thanks for the tip.

LOL, you know I'm always dreaming up something. Well, since I ended up cutting out the trunk of my S2000, I was trying to figure out something useful to put in it. The best I can come up with, so far , has been a flat-tire scene... Perhaps too much drifting...

You're a drifter?! Wow, I didn't know that!! Sweet~
Intresting idea, I guess you can also use other small wheels instead of steelies if you can't find any.
