Cool Another Murcielago

Here is my version...

Paint is emerald green flake, straight from the can.
Replaced kit cf decals with sms cf decals.
Rims are aftermarket, Koening 18s up front 19s back.

Any suggestions from the pros that already built it?

WOW! Look at that reflection on the hood! That's without a clear coat? LOVE the interior color scheme. CF detail looks good too. The HVAC vents look a little rough, weren't the Lambo "pros" using some sort of aftermarket PE trim rings?

Wow, the paintjob is very cool! But is it just me or are there really some tiny bubbles in the CF decal behind the places where the side windows will be?

Nice colors and finishes for the interior/exterior, but won't they clash when the car is assembled? Or is it for a Christmas display?

Re: Another Murcielago

Nice green on that Murcie. Will be interesting to see how it and the interior colours work together. What rims are you using there?

The interior is mostly black with splashes of red (the more red parts like the bottom of the door panels and the buttom dahs won't be immidiately seen on the finished car. I test fit the interior into the body and it looks fine. I really wanted cafe brown and white interior, but ran out of paint

The tiny bubles on cf are from solvaset (as I just applied it before taking the photo) they will straighten out (if you look at the other side it no longer has the bubles).

HVAC trim rings are painted, the light plays with the reflections a little, they are not that rough as they ppear on the photo. Besides, I doubt that many people can look inside the tiny windows of this car. (hence I didn't bother flocking the interior)

The rims are listed in my post, they are Aoshima Koening 18s and 19s.

Re: Another Murcielago

If possible, try to get a pic of the finished product in the sunlight. I think that'll set off the body colour very nicely. Good work so far!

Re: Another Murcielago

Very NiCE! Did you add to the lip on the rear rims or is that stock?

Re: Another Murcielago

I added the lip on the rear. rear rims were also 18's but I added styrene and made a 19 lip.

Engine progress:

Carbon fiber engine bay and cover, detail painted scripts, some wiring for interest. just trying to liven up the engine compartment, most of it will not be seen anyway

Work on the body is almost complete, windows, detail painted, badges and insignia are all in. the last thing thats waiting is the side view mirrors.

The paint was polished again.

Headlights are on

Close up on headlights, replaced kit projector lights with MV lenses.

Side shine:

What do you think?
