k24 swap

so my buddy just wrecked his 04 tsx and he is givivg me the motor. does anybody make motor mounts or will it even fit in a 89 hatch?

yeah i was gonna say checkout hasport.com and search for dss axles..of course u will have to do a lil persuasion..google k24 crx/civic and do some reading up..there are many write ups about the swap throughout the net

The k24 isnt whats in the rsx type-s. Its a K20A2

Yeah, if you want to make a frankenstein with a k24 bottom and k20 head, you need a k24 block out of a crv or element. But seriously, you need time and dough to pull off a k swap. Check out honda-tech and google the subject, its a swap that requires lots of fab work and welding so be prepared to get dirty and spend A LOT of money.

ehh dont sell it man..the axles mounts and electronic upgrades do well surpass the price of the motor itself lol but of course its gonna be a pain in the ass..if ur in a rush and expect everything to fall together in a short period of time..yeah sell the motor

well it was either keep this and put it in or sell it and get a b series and have extra money to put in to that. how much is a k24 worth?
